WARRANTY POLICY

 

Thank you for choosing The Sweat House for your sauna needs. We are committed to providing you with high-quality products and exceptional service. Please read our return policy carefully before making a purchase.

 

All Sales Are Final: We do not accept returns or exchanges for any reason other than manufacturer defects covered under our warranty (outlined below). Once a purchase is made, it is considered final.

 

1. Warranty Coverage

 

The sauna structure and installation performed by The Sweat House are covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the date of installation.

 

The sauna heaters or stoves supplied by The Sweat House are covered by a 2-year limited warranty from the date of installation against manufacturer defects.

 

Important:

 

Warranty period begins on the date the sauna is installed by The Sweat House.

 

Electric heaters must be installed by a licensed electrician.

 

Wood-burning stove warranty begins on the date of sauna installation.

 

Heating elements in electric heaters are considered consumable and are not covered.

Stove warping in wood stoves are considered misuse from overheating and are not covered.

 

2. What This Warranty Covers

 

Defects in workmanship related to installation performed by The Sweat House

 

Structural defects in sauna components supplied by The Sweat House

 

Manufacturer defects in heaters or stoves supplied by The Sweat House

 

Normal wear associated with proper sauna use

 

3. What This Warranty Does Not Cover

 

Damage caused by misuse or negligence

 

Damage caused by improper or modified ventilation

 

Damage caused by natural events, including storms, wind, rain, or snow

 

Cosmetic changes to wood caused by heat and humidity

 

Damage resulting from improper maintenance

 

Damage caused by relocating the sauna after installation

 

Glass doors on wood-burning stoves

 

Heating elements in electric heaters

 

4. Electrical Installation Disclaimer

 

All electrical work for heaters must be completed by a licensed electrician.

The Sweat House is not responsible for any issues related to electrical panels, breakers, wiring outside of the heater installation, or work performed by third-party electricians.

5. Kit Saunas

 

Saunas sold as DIY kits where The Sweat House is not contracted to perform installation are not covered under this warranty.

This warranty only applies to saunas installed by The Sweat House.

6. Commercial Use

 

This warranty applies to residential installations only.

Saunas installed in commercial environments are not covered unless stated in writing.

7. Customer-Supplied Materials

 

This warranty applies only to materials supplied by The Sweat House.

Customer-supplied items are not covered, even if installed as part of the sauna build.

8. Warranty Transferability

 

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser and original installation location.

9. Natural Wood Characteristics

 

Normal characteristics of wood are not considered defects, including:

 

Cracking or checking

 

Shrinkage or expansion

 

Warping or slight movement

 

Colour variation or darkening

 

10. Sauna Relocation

 

If a sauna is moved, relocated, lifted, transported, or reinstalled by the customer or a third party, this warranty is void.

11. Proper Heater Operation

 

Sauna heaters must be operated according to manufacturer guidelines.

Damage not covered includes:

 

Improper heater use

 

Operating heaters without proper ventilation

 

Covering the heater or blocking airflow

 

Using improper sauna stones or materials

 

12. Sauna Installation Location

 

The Sweat House will install the sauna on the base provided by the customer.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the base is in a safe and appropriate location, free from fire hazards.

13. Warranty Claims

 

To submit a warranty claim, customers must provide:

 

Proof of purchase

 

Installation date

 

Photos and a description of the issue

 

The Sweat House will review the claim and determine the appropriate repair or replacement.

 

14. Limitation of Liability

 

The Sweat House shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of sauna use.

Repairs or replacements under this warranty constitute the sole remedy available to the purchaser.

Small gaps between boards

Exclusions:

The Sweat House reserves the right to refuse warranty claims that do not meet the specified criteria outlined in this policy.

We are not liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.

Modification of Terms:

The Sweat House reserves the right to modify or update this return policy and warranty terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
